    Receipt of this form in no way indicates acceptance in the Education Program. Students may not enroll in any education courses (SEC) without first being admitted to the Education Program.

    Application to the Education Program requires a minimum overall GPA of 2.75 from all institutions of higher learning. Please see the Application for Admission to a Teacher Education Program on the University website for additional application information.

    Music Education majors must maintain a major GPA of 2.75 or higher and an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher. All courses taken to meet licensure requirements must be completed for a grade of C-(1.70) or higher. All educator preparation programs are subject to revisions required by changes from the Illinois State Board of Education.

    ALL students must complete at least half of their Education courses, excluding SEC 300, 450 and student teaching (MUS 457), at Elmhurst University and must complete three full terms [Fall/Spring] at Elmhurst University prior to student teaching.
