All Fall 2025, first-year admitted students are invited to participate in the Niebuhr Service to Society Scholarship Competition. We look forward to reviewing your application!

Students who plan to apply for the American Dream Scholarship Competition are not eligible to also apply for the Niebuhr Service to Society scholarship. International students are not eligible for this scholarship competition.

Determination of a video’s suitability to be featured is up to the discretion of the Elmhurst University Office of Marketing and Communications. Videos that include inappropriate content, language or graphics will be disqualified.

Round 2

On March 8, 2025 from 8:30 AM-11:00 AM students will be invited to the second round of the competition held on campus. The event will include a group service exercise, a featured speaker, and a chance to meet other participants. Round 2 concludes with an awards ceremony hosted by Elmhurst University President Troy D. VanAken.
