Application for the CSD Accelerated Program

This is an accelerated 5-year program for completion of both a bachelor's degree and graduate degree (44.25 credits, 177 semester hours total) in communication sciences and disorders. The undergraduate coursework provides students with a background in the processes of normal communication, prepares them to identify and treat communication disorders across the lifespan, and ensures their completion of required guided clinical observation hours. The graduate coursework prepares students academically and clinically for national certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and Illinois State licensure. The bachelor’s degree will be awarded after successful completion of the first year of the professional (graduate) program.
